MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineering department started in the K.V. POLYTECHNIC during the year 2009, the branch of engineering concerned with the design, manufacturing, installation and operation of engines and machines and with manufacturing process. The Department is well equipped with all resources. Vast experienced faculty members having excelled qualification, Masters and with basic graduation in Mechanical Engineering. Good qualified and experienced supporting staff having expertise knowledge in machines and in their concerned workshops and Laboratories.

Vision of the Program: To create globally competent and skilled Mechanical Engineers with sound technical knowledge, innovativeness and social responsibilities.

Mission of the program:

• Mission 1: To impart quality technical education to students by providing excellent Teaching & learning Environment in collaboration with the industry.
• Mission 2: To encourage ethical values and leadership abilities in the minds of students so as to work towards the growth of the society.
• Mission 3: Provide industry oriented practical experience and skills necessary for innovativeness, employability, entrepreneurship and global competency.
